Our Outreach Ministry

We lead and collaborate on social, economic, and educational justice research and advocacy.
1

Word of Hope

Word of Hope helps women experiencing life challenges to see themselves as a Divine creation, not their circumstances. Women in homeless or domestic violence shelters, rehabilitation centers, mental wellness programs, prisons, reentry programs, and beyond receive a card with a handwritten note of encouragement.

2

Success After Arrest

African American males, ages 18-29, are over-represented in prisons and underrepresented in college. Analyses of prison, education, behavioral, race, gender, and ethnicity data predict that positive role models, raising instructor expectations, and a focus on possible selves will increase academic and occupational self-expectations.

3

Homeless Bill of Rights

In this study, homeless shelter staff abuse, harass, and intimidate clients as legally defined by the state; administratively neglect them by not complying with organizational and federal policies; and housing rental agencies discriminate against shelter clients. Ms. King writes and advocates for a first-in-nation Homeless Bill of Rights to protect these vulnerable citizens.

4

International Mission

To celebrate World Refugee Day on June 20, 2016, the Universal Human Rights International teamed up with Nikki House Books to provide books to children in one of Boston’s poorest neighborhoods and in Sierra Leone. The historical fiction beginning-to-read series is based on the life of the African-American medical pioneer Dr. Charles Drew.

5

Risky Migration

A phenomenological immigration study of 300+ individuals from at least 20 different countries. Economic, political, and social oppression increased risky migration behaviors in pursuit of freedom and increased career and personal opportunities.

About Us

King Global Ministries is an interfaith, non-profit serving individuals—regardless of life choices, lifestyle, or faith tradition—whose past experiences of trauma and drama skew their present self-perception and sabotage their desire for relationship, career, health, and/or wealth fulfillment in the future.

VISION

We are making self-love innate, imitated, and hereditary

MISSION

We administer the antidote of self-love to prevent, transform, and end shame experiences

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 1

By the grace of God, we are what we are. (1 Corinthians 15:10)

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 2

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8:35-39)

We're called to draw others with loving-kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3)

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 4

The power of our spiritual gifting lies in loving others unconditionally (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

GUIDING PRINCIPLE 5

We advocate for spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and economic freedom (Luke 4:18-19; Proverbs 31:8-9)

Leadership

Sapphire Jule King’s personal journey of healing from the negative mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical effects of sexual abuse, alcoholism, suicide attempts, codependency, shame, disconnection, isolation, disordered eating, and self-hate became the fertile ground from which her ministry bloomed.

Transforming a life of pain into a daily experience of God’s unconditional love began with the freedom to discover a Higher Power of her own understanding. With 20+ years of community and public service and celebrating 23 years of sobriety, Sapphire Jule leads King Global Ministries to offer that same gift of inclusive, compassionate care to people of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and faiths – including atheists, agnostics, and the spiritual but not religious.

A belief in her understanding of God is not required, only the willingness to receive a friend.

Sapphire Jule is an ordained minister, a Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts Certified Facilitator, and graduate of Inspire Women’s Spiritual Leadership Academy.
